It’s been a while…
So i guess it’s been drawing close to a month since I posted anything here, and I blame that on a lack of creative drive. I’ve been on a creative funk for a while now, and today I think that funk broke. I’m in the process of making what I’m pretty sure will be my best song yet, and I actually have the motivation to finish it.
I can’t wait to finish this song so I can record it and share it with everyone, hopefully I’ll try and post a little sample tomorrow to get people as excited as I am for this!

Inspiration
So it’s two in the morning, I’m not chatting it up with anyone, and boredom hit me like a freight train, so my thought process decided to go wild. Through my boredom, I’ve been trying to work on lyrics for a song I’ve been working on, and I began to notice a trend.
For the most part, I don’t have the inspiration to write lyrics.
To tell the truth, I have no idea why this is. The only song I’ve ever written was venting out negative emotions from when I was going through a hard time in my life. So besides that, why can’t I find the inspiration to write lyrics?
Sure, I’ll have ideas in my head for songs I wanna do, including a full concept album, (I’ll probably mention something about this later on) but for the most part, I’ve got nothing. It’s honestly really frustrating, since I long for that creative drive to be able to crank out a masterpiece every so often.
So I started to think, and I might have found the reason. My thought process through most of my life has been based more on logic, and less on emotion. So now I’m beginning to realize, if I want to be that famous musician that I aspire to be, I need that emotion, that passion, that fire that would allow me to create something great. The question is, where do I find it?
